The memory sticks are from the same manufacturer as the originals and the ID is the same. I held Windows + b while powering up as you instructed. The power LED illuminated, the fans started and seven seconds later the laptop shutdown. This time there were no blink codes. Does this mean the system board is at fault?

@Ray_1942, thank you again for the detailed update — I can only imagine how frustrating this journey has been.
Since you've ruled out the RAM (same manufacturer, same specs), and BIOS recovery didn’t initiate (no beeps, no HP logo, system powers off), it does suggest the issue might be with the system board — especially given the history of alternating blink codes and now no response at all.
At this point, you've done everything right — from hard resets to component swaps. Sadly, with no POST and the BIOS recovery not kicking in, the motherboard is the most likely suspect.
