Dear HP Community ,
i'am stuck since 3 days.
Lets begin: i wanted to upgrade the M2 SSD from my HP ENVY x360 - 15-bp031ng
installed: Samsung SSD 128GB
wanted to install: Samsung M2 SSD 980 (normal)
I cloned the original drive with 3 different programs:
-Paragon
-Clonezilla
-Acronis True image
no success with booting one of them.
I upgraded the bios version from F47 to F.48 Rev.A since i was getting always the same error:
KMODE Exeption NOT HANDLED
after trying here and there options in the bios ( secure boot on/off, legacy support is disabled because of uefi )
Today i reinstalled the old 128GB Samsung SSD and now i keeps getting the same error KMODE Exeption not handled. Windows is not booting, always this error.
I created a usb stick with the media creation tool and the stick dont boot until i remove the M2 SSD. (i checked the boot order before)
When i have no M2 ssd inside the device the stick boots up. Any other stick (with paragon etc.) boots up with m2 ssd installed
In the Recovery i got the failure Code:
0xc0000000e
Thank you very much for any help 🙂
