I bought my granddaughter an HP Envy x360 to use at university. Bought it in May 2024 and has worked without any issues until she started university. The laptop blue screens every time she tries to log in, or just after log in.
I have reset the O/S twice, applied a BIOS update, checked all the drivers to make sure they are current and applied all Windows updates. The laptop works fine at my house and at her mother's house. Only blue screens at university. I've been in IT over 40 years and have never had a piece of hardware act differently based on location.
I suspect it is the WiFi causing the issue but I'm not sure what I can do about it. The whole purpose of purchasing this laptop was for her to use at university. I have given her my Dell laptop which works fine. Her roommates Apple also works fine. It is only the HP that has the issue.
Anybody ever see this issue before?

I have not come across that problem either.
You didn't mention what model Wi-Fi adapter the notebook has.
If it has the RTL8852CE Wi-Fi 6E adapter, this is the latest driver that HP has for it, and it is newer than the one on the notebook's support page.
6001.16.156.600 05/16/2024
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp153001-153500/sp153227.exe
But here is something unusual...there are two completely different driver versions for that model Wi-Fi adapter.
When I look at the netrtwlane602 setup information file for the HP driver, it has the above driver version and date.
But the latest driver in the same named setup information file from the Microsoft Update catalog has a totally different driver version and date:
6001.16.126.320 06/27/2024
So, if that is the model Wi-Fi adapter the notebook has, perhaps you can try both drivers.
I have zipped up and attached the driver from the Microsoft Update Catalog below and you will have to manually update it from the Realtek Wi-Fi adapter in the device manager since it has no executable installation file.
Hopefully one of those two drivers will resolve the problem.
