Product: HP Chromebook 11 G8 Education Edition
Operating System: Chrome OS

I work for a large school district and we daily see many of our HP  G11- G7,G8,G9 Chromebooks not powering on. These devices are easily fixed by putting them into recovery mode (power, refresh, esc) them powering them back off and then on. It's been an issue for about a year now, but I am noticing this year it is particularly bad. Does anyone know what is causing this? It is across all 3 of the models mentioned above. We keep our CBs updated to the latest version. The devices will come in with some having a full battery to some having no charge at all.  This is happening across K-12 devices. It is the worst on the G8 devices, but again, it is happening on all 3 models at our school district.
