MIni 110
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I was just given an HP Mini 110.  The first time I turned it on, it seemed fine, but wanted my router's wifi code.  Didn't want to mess with that, so  turned it off.  Now when I  turn it on, I get a black screen with the HP logo, and the following:  <F9> =Change Boot Device Order  <F10>= BIOS Setup Options.

 

None of the function keys do anything.  A small Logitech USB drive came with it.  It doesn't matter if it is plugged in or not.

 

I've tried starting it while holding the Windows + F9 keys, Windows + F10, Windows + V, Windows + B, and Windows + esc.

 

Nothing!  Thanks for any help.

We understand that it's not booting to windows. Request you to follow the below troubleshooting steps from the document fix

 

In the meantime, let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the Notebook:

Step 2: Connecting an external monitor to test the display

The notebook screen display might remain black when there is a corrupted graphics driver or a problem with the LCD display backlight. To test the display, attach an external monitor and restart the computer. Testing with an external display is helpful if the notebook display is black but you can hear sounds; such as fans, spinning drives, or beep tones that indicate the computer is operating.

 

Next thing, I would suggest here is to Run a System diagnostics test as well as an extensive test on the Hard drive and Memory from F2 (Please capture the failure ID for further assistance).

 

If all test pass turns off the computer.

As you turn it back on tap the F10 key. This will load the BIOS setup utility.
Press F9 to load defaults.
Press F10 to save and exit.
