Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i purchased an BNIB but older HP which had windows 8 and a HDD i updated to a SSD and windows 10 64 bit. All was fine until i placed the battery in. The laptop just goesblack screen does nothing. shut it down remove battery then restart on AC only works fine. I updated bios and all drivers nothing. Anyh ideas what to do ? HP Notebook - 15 - r219na

If the battery is deeply discharged, the BMS (battery management system) prevents charging for safety reasons. In this case, you must replace the battery.

i think i worked it out, The laptop was sitting unused not even setup for over 3 years when i got it setup the battery was 100% dead got it working and booting now through install battery when laptop was up and running. Battery not charging and comeas up as fault on booting, Must be just dead went ahead a purchased a new one to see how it goes
