My laptop will not turn on, the caps light blinks once and the indicator on the side for the hard drive stays on. But the laptop will not power on and there's nothing on the scree. Whether it's plug in or on the battery. I tried the hold the power button down to discharge any power but did not work. The reference for the blinking light says it might be the cpu, and if so is there a replacement available for it or what do I do?

Hi @Jack29e
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Try these steps -
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK
If the issue still persists, try the steps mentioned here.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
