Dear all,

please could you help me to identify, what is the source of the issue, when CapsLock and NumLock flash 7 times, the fan is not running and nothing more is happening?

I am aware about these links: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01732674?jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0001 and https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07107 and similar post here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/HP-Laptop-Error-Blink-Codes/m-p/6142983/highl...

but none of these post mentions the 7 times flashing for CapsLock and NumLock.

Please do somebody know what is the reason for this code?

Thank you very much for answer.

Hi,

thank you for post. I found this too. In the post you sent the power button should flashing and machine should beeping. It does not happening in my case - in my case caps lock and num lock flashing (and not the power button) and no beeping here.

Maybe this is the same cause, if so, the documentation is misleading. Could someone from HP clarify it?

Thanks!

Regards,

V.
