I probably need to start a new thread, but, just to confirm, the driver did not fix the issue, at least not for me as I just experienced the same issue today even though I have the latest driver update. :Crying:

Did anyone ever got this resolved?

I am having the same issue. I tried updating the drivers, reinstalling them from safe boot, disabling app readiness, seeing the value of registry in winlogon of shell file but it did not fixed my issue. I sarted having this issue when I dual booted my system.

Can anyone help!!!

The problem seems to have resolved itself after a while for me, I didn't know what exactly it was because I tried everything I could think of as an IT guy. What I do suspect though is that it's something that has to do with the Nvidia driver, I did have it updated a couple times back then to a later version than the one that was supposed to fix it and I haven't been having that issue ever since. I didn't get the driver updated through the HP application, I went to the Nvidia website and had the website detect the appropriate version for my machine and I downloaded it. Hopefully you'll get that sorted out soon. 🙂

I tried rolling back my drivers . But each time I try that, installation fails and gives an error that a newer version is present. I dont know what else I am supposed to do.

I just updated newest drivers and it worked. If you can't roll back the drivers, then try uninstalling everything Nvidia related from programs and features and then install again.
