Hi @Dany-vdz,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are having issues with no boot/no display.
Remove discs and devices and perform a hard reset
To determine whether you need to contact HP or troubleshoot startup issues, perform a hard reset.
NOTE: A hard reset does not affect data saved on your computer.
- Turn off the computer.
- Disconnect the AC adapter.
- Remove any discs from the disc drive.
- Remove memory cards from the card reader slot.
- Disconnect all nonessential devices such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.
- NOTE: Do not disconnect your mouse, keyboard, or monitor.
- With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter, and then turn on the computer.
- NOTE: Be sure that you use the AC adapter that was shipped with the computer.
Click here for the next set of steps.
Also, check the below details.
Basic Checks
- Power Supply: Ensure the power adapter is connected and working. Try using a different power adapter if available.
- Battery: If the laptop has a removable battery, try removing it and powering the laptop with the adapter alone. If it’s an internal battery, ensure it is charged.
External Display
Connect your laptop to an external monitor to check if it’s a display issue:
- Connect the external monitor via HDMI or another suitable port.
- Power On the laptop and check if the external monitor displays anything.
4. RAM Reseating
Reseat the RAM modules:
- Power Off the laptop and unplug it from the power source.
- Open the back cover (refer to the manual for instructions).
- Remove and Reseat the RAM modules.
- Close the back cover and try powering on the laptop.
5. BIOS Reset
Reset the BIOS settings:
- Power Off the laptop and disconnect all external devices.
- Press the power button and immediately start pressing the F10 key repeatedly.
- If you can access the BIOS menu, reset it to default settings and restart.
diagnostic Lights or Beeps
Check for any diagnostic lights or beeps that might indicate a specific hardware issue.
If none of the above steps work, there might be a deeper hardware issue. I recommend contacting HP phone support for service options.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
