My wife's HP Pavilion Laptop Model 15-cs1063ci won't boot up; we get a screen with the HP logo and a message that says please wait while we update your operating system. This message stays on the screen for about 20 seconds or so, then the computer shuts down and the whole process starts over again (endless loop). I recovered the BIOS using the Windows + b key combination to start up into the BIOS update screen, but this didn't fix the problem. I then ran the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI tool and ran the system extensive test. I got a failure message when it ran the Hard Drive/SSD Short DST Check. The message reads:
Failure ID: U0AF7A-9HFBJJ-MFPW2K-60WQ03
Anyone have any suggestions as to what to do next?
