HP Pavilion x360 won't boot, Caps Lock blinking 3 long and 5 short

When I press the Power button, it first blinks slowly about 3-5 times before the fan starts running smoothly.

Then the Caps Lock LED lights blink in a pattern of 3 long blinks followed by 5 short successive blinks, over and over again.

The screen remains black. I can't use the notebook at all.

Please help.

Hi

You get a LONG (MAJOR) signal category, RED LED &

then a SHORT (MINOR) signal category, WHITE LED.

Major – the category of the error; Minor – specific error in that category

The AUDIBLE repeats 5 times, and the VISUAL until power is removed.
