hi.. so my wife has a HP Pavilluon x360 Model 14-dy0015na. The charger is working and plugged in. Red lwd adjacent to the power is steady on. When I press the power button the white LED on the key comes on for around 4 seconds then the light goes off along with the red power led, a second later the red power light comes back on nut nothing else happens. I've tried unplugging it and holding the power key for 15 seconds to no avail. Not sure why ita doing this as it was being used recently.
Any help would be appreciated

Here's a video from HP Support about troubleshooting a laptop that does not power on or hold a charge:

Thank you. The battery does hold charge. The unit charged overnight m, the red light is now white. Given the unit is out of warranty I opened up the back and having unplugged the battery made sure the memory was seated correctly which it was. I also plugged in the unit without the battery being connected, same issue. White power key led comes on.. goes back off. Nothing starts no fan no screen.. nothing. Its getting power but not starting. Has to be a hardware issue..

The issue it seems is a hardware issue. The power key lights up but goes out after a second. Nothing makes any sound no fans no beeping screen remains black. I've removed the memory and tried starting, no change. Ivecrwmoved the battery and tried starting with charger only.. no change. I've removed the SSD and tried to start, same thing.. the LED on the power key (which on this model is on the top row of the keyboard) comes on for 1 seconds then goes out. Nothing engages. Trying to contact HP to get an out of warrentyrepair sorted is utterly impossible, trying to get through to any human being at HP is impossible. IM STUCK..

HP does not do out of warranty repairs -- so trying to arrange that is wasting your time.
You need to take this to a local laptop repair shop -- but given your extensive testing, I don't know that anyone can do anything to get this working right again.
