Hello

I had a problem. I bought this from online seller and he can not remember an administrator password to enter the BIOS.
I do tried restore BIOS from a USB device, but nothing has changed. I tried disconnect the battery with the BIOS, and also did not get the result.

Think i need a customized SMC.bin file which can use at boot to reset the password.

Can somebody get SMC.bin file for my device?

English is not my primary language, sorry if something write wrong.

I'm really sorry that we can not help you with this, but Community policy prohibits us from assisting you in any way with bypassing or resetting passwords.

For BIOS or power-on password resets, read this HP thread: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06368824.

If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard for BIOS password resets, you could take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do it for you -- but we are unable to assist in that.

For Admin password resets, you have to contact your regional HP Customer Support location directly for assistance.

Sorry, but HP no longer supplies those files -- so the only "Fix" for the problem is what was indicated in my reply.
