Greetings,
I have a HP Probook 650 G4 that I'm having issues with the Laptop fully shutting down after being locked for 40+ mins.
Due to the nature of this laptop it needs to be locked when not in use to avoid unwanted people messing with it, but we cant have it shutdown and restarted.
I've ran full diagnostics, came back clean, Adjusted all power settings to have it never shut off on or off battery, Edited Group policies to basically force it to never automatically shut off.
I'm about at wits end with this machine. I'm currently deployed right now so I simply cannot just give the laptop over to HP to get fixed.
Any suggestions?
*Edit* I should also mention that if I just leave the Laptop logged into, It won't shut off. Once I lock the computer after roughly 40 minutes it will shut off. There is no indications in Event Viewer that there is anything weird happening before it shuts down. There was some driver errors that were happening previously with the Finger Print Scanner, I just went ahead and deleted the drivers and uninstalled the Finger Scanner from the Device Manager since it won't ever get used. After resolving that issue its still occurring. That was the only errors I noticed in the EV that stuck out around the times of the Laptop Autoshutting off.
