SPECTRE X360 CONVERTIBLE
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello! I'm absolutely gutted. As many other members have experienced my Spectre X360 will not power on, and does not appear to be charging (no light visible)

I've only owned this laptop 6 months, but when inputting the serial number into HP warranty site, apparently it's out of warranty!!!!

I use my laptop for work and purchased it for £1,700 GBP (I assumed by paying a bit more I would have a reliable laptop to replace my lenovo - I was really chuffed with it! now I'm concerned I am without a laptop whilst needing to work from home - due to this pandemic, and I've potentially lost all the data on it! Stupid amount of hours, that I should of backed up! )

Has anyone had a re-assuring experience they can share with their problematic Spectre? I understand this could be an on going issue after reading so many posts, both on this forum and others..... I've ordered a new charger cable, but I'm not holding out that this will fix the problem

@k212 I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

Please look for a private message requesting additional information.

Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
