HP Spectre x360 - 13-w001nn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have an issue which litterally accured in front of me while using laptop for job. So while using laptop the screen turned dark. I thought battery is low and went off as usually happens if battery is at 8%. Plugged it in tried to power on and power button  light was just slowly blinking, while power light on the right side was blinking once orange, once white and small pause before repeating the blink once white and once orange.

I holded the power button for 10/15 seconds for hard reset. I noticed battery charging light stopped blinking and was in charging mode orange color non stop on, which indicates laptop is charging.

Tried few more times to turn it on but same resoult, doesnt want to turn on while lights where blinking.

I went on HP community support, read few threaths and tried everything that HP support replied to similar or same issues.

1. I tried hard reset - no effect, same issue.

2. I tried charging laptop untill it was full, where charging light turnes white, unplugging power adapter from laptop and turning it on - same problem, power light blinking slowly (power light goes on for a second, than it blinks and again goes on for a second and blinks, blinking keeps repeating on and on...)
3. I clicked on all the links HP support provided to other members with same or similar issue and still cant turn it on.

4. Tried even holding power for 10 to 15 seconds with mute button - no result, same issue.

5. Tried holding Win+B and powering on laptop for 2 to 3 seconds - no result, same issue.

So I cant turn in on, no fan or any kind of noise from the laptop.

What could it be, is the motherboard dead as many users of HP Spectre x360 - 13 already had this issue?

I know battery works, I believe disc is ok as laptop is exactly 2 zears and 11 months old and was never under hard usage as I use it strictly for job and sometimes watching movies.

As I am around Europe buisness trip this is a HUGE issue for me as all my job data is on the laptop and I need it in literally 12h (I know its not possible). Currently I am in Poland for another Month, than I travel to Spain where I need the laptop also, Laptop was bought in Slovenia in March 2016 for around 1500 Euros, warranty is over, but I think laptop should not die just like that as it is still relativly new. If I dont get it operational, my expenses on this Europe buisness trip will rise exponentally not to mention problems at the job.

Can HP support prvide effective solution for this issue as I also see many people with this model reported same problem. I dont want to be rude or anything but I do believe it is HP issue with motherboeards for HP Spectre x360 - 13, which was not fixed otherwise so many users would not report the same issue.

Bottom line is I need the laptop operational with all my data intact As Soon As Possible. My job depends on it literraly.

Please HP support, provide me with help and  solution.

I just called HP Poland as this is what some of the HP support told me to do and quess what, HP Poland just said we speak only Polish and HANGED DOWN the phone.

Really, I mean really HP Poland in 21st centurz doesnt speak English???

I see there is A LOT of toasted Spectre x360, huge amount of burned monetherboards reported. Found even a post where someone posts over 100 users reporting the same issue. I am shocked. This suppose to be a high end laptop!?
