My Spectre x360 laptop no longer powers on. There's no fan noise, no lights on the laptop, and no light on the charger when it's plugged in. The computer was just sitting unplugged and not being used at all between when it was working and now. It looks like this is a common problem with the Spectre line of laptops from all the other forum posts. I called technical support, and they say since it's 6 months past warranty, it'll cost $650 to fix the problem (which is half the price of the laptop). I've only owned this laptop for 1 1/2 years, so it's really disappointing to see it catastrophically fail and take all of my data with it so suddenly, especially considering that this laptop is in the high-end price range.

Unfortunately, I have seen this fairly often. Not sure where you are located or if you would even be interested but several members have used this service and reported good results:

I had the same issue after using a different USB-C charger. The machine basically acted like it was dead.
Ultimately it responded to being plugged into the factory charger for a night while being left alone and I haven't had a problem since.
