I Have a HP Stream 11 laptop that we set a admin password for the bios when you first turn on the pc. The code is 244873921. We have tried everything to get this back to get into windows with no luck, Can anyone help.

Check the halt code you've posted as it should only contain 8 digits, not 9. If there is a prefix like 'I' or 'i' include that as well.

You are right. My error! There is no 1 on the end. The correct number should be 24487392. I dont know if it makes a difference but there is a i in the front. of the letters.
I have tried everything including some trick this guy posted about reversing the leads on the motherboard battery for 5 seconds then putting them back but that did not work either. Thanks to anyone who can help.
