So, I have a HP 250 G5 which I recieved through the VA in March 2017. This past Tuesday night it shutdown on me and has not turned on since. I took it to Geek Squad at Best Buy but because I did not have proof of the purchase they could not help me. I then started contacting HP Support and giving them the basic problem. Last night around 6:30 pm, I was able to get someone via the chat funciton finally, but because I was not by my computer I was told to call back. I went back on the chat service around 9 pm and it was unavailable, so I called the phone number and could not get anyone to respond. Today, I call the customer support number and after being transfered to 4 different department, they HUNG UP on me when trying to transfer me to the 5th department. I then tried the automated support function on the website and everytime I told it I was inquiring about a lapttop it kept giving me solutions for a desktop. I am frustrated to say the least because I am trying to get this issue resolved using a tablet and a cell phone. I need to know how to get this computer fixed. It is still under a manufactory warranty so there should not be any issues.
My basic problem:
The computer does not turn on. I have tried it using just the battery and using just the power cord. I have tried using the power cord that came with it and the folks at Geek Squad tried using one of theirs. The light does not turn on when you put in the power cord and the machine does not make a sound. Can somone help me or provide me wth a direct number to customer support for a HP 250 G5 Laptop...Please!
