I literally pulled out my laptop, turned it on expecting to be able to get some documents and I ended up being met with nonstop BSODs in Windows, "ACPI_BIOS_ERROR", no minidump files were created and it was basically in some form of a bootloop.
I did manage to go into the BIOS but this was only after pressing F10, ESC menu wasn't working at all, when I got to the BIOS, it was unresponsive, laggy and there was info for components that I didn't even have, such as information on a WWAN card, when I went to the "Device Firmware Revision" section; I saw a bunch of info regarding features that my laptop didn't even have, such as Thunderbolt support (TI FW) and multiple entries specifying the Graphics Output Protocol (GOP) version, 3 of which didn't show anything, only one of them did.
There was also the usual info such as USB PD FW, EC version which looked fine, but then the BIOS let out a continuous beep that wouldn't stop, I ended up forcing it off by holding the PWR button, turned it back on and it was okay all of the sudden.
Given how this only got fixed after technically force resetting the laptop, forcing a full POST, my guess is that the laptop had a bad POST, maybe a race condition during POST that caused a bunch of problems and it seems that my laptop wasn't the only one facing this, I saw some posts of people having this same issue on Victus laptops as well which is even weirder.
I'm hoping that this will get to an HP employee and that this issue gets addressed in a BIOS update (along with CPU microcode updates because the latest BIOS has A500011, whereas the latest revision according to the CPUMicrocodes GitHub repo is A500014, the CPU in this laptop is a Ryzen 5 5600H, has a GTX 1650 for a dedicated GPU, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of NVMe storage.
Also, just as a sidenote, the laptop is about 6 months old at this point and had never done anything like that before.

It's getting worse, battery "disconnecting" and not being detected by Windows, connecting the laptop to the charger (if not already connected) seems to fix it though, if it's already connected, I just have to disconnect the charger, reconnect it and the battery gets detected again.

@David112x, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding BSOD with ACPI_BIOS_ERROR on HP Victus 15!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Experiencing a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on your HP Victus 15, particularly with an "ACPI_BIOS_ERROR," can be challenging. This error often relates to issues with the BIOS or ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface). Here are some steps you can consider to troubleshoot and resolve this problem:
Update BIOS: A BIOS update can often resolve issues related to ACPI. Ensure your BIOS is up to date. If you can access the BIOS, check for any updates on the HP support website. Make sure to have your model number handy for specific updates.
Reset BIOS to Default Settings: Access the BIOS and reset to its default settings. This can undo any incorrect configurations that might be causing the error. Typically, you can find an option in the BIOS menu to "Load Default Settings" or a similar option.
Battery and Power Supply Check: Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery for a few minutes. Re-insert the battery and connect the power adapter to ensure a proper power cycle.
Check for Loose Connections: Since the problem could be hardware-related, ensure that all internal components such as memory (RAM) and hard drive are securely connected.
Perform a Hard Reset: A hard reset can resolve numerous issues. For HP laptops, turn off the computer, disconnect all power sources, and hold the power button down for 15 seconds. Then reconnect the power sources and restart.
Try Booting in Safe Mode: If you can access Windows, even briefly, try booting in Safe Mode. Safe Mode can help isolate the issue if it's related to a driver or software.
Reinstall Windows: If other solutions fail, consider reinstalling Windows. However, ensure you have backups of your important data before proceeding.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
