HP ZBook 15 G2 not turning on, blinking lights.

I got this zbook off of ebay about 2 years ago now, it is from 2015. It worked wonderfully until a little bit ago when I left it downloading a game from steam. When I came back, the screen was black and pressing enter or the power button did nothing. The battery light, caps lock light, and power button have been blinking continuously for a while (short blinks every quarter of a second) and whenever I unplug the laptop the blinking stops, plugging it back in starts it instantly. The battery seems to have no charge and to not be charging. The power supply is almost 2x what is needed for the laptop.
