hp notebook 17-by0940nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP17-by0940nd that doesn"t work anymore. After an update of the bios it doesn"t do anything any more.

I have tried eveything that was possible via the hp site such as making key combinations usb flash and what  not.

There is not much to be found of this type on the internet. Now I wanted buy a recovery usb stick via HP, but is this useful now that I can"t get into the bios.  I alsolooked for a new motherboard but couldn"t find anything. I hope you can help me a bit or is it the end of the story.

Welcome to HP Support Community

I would like to help

I appreciate all your efforts and expertise in troubleshooting this issue

Since the BIOS Recovery did not work, using a Recovery USB Media would not be useful right now since you are unable to get past the BIOS

I suggest you contact HP Support in your region for Service Options

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Thank you
