Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I switch on my laptop there is this error 90B message shown on the screen and it prompts me to enter the return key to continue. I have to this each time I need to use the laptop and log in to windows. Besides this problem, I notice the keyboard area is heated up and feels the heat when touching the keyboard. To avoid this from happening I have to shut down when I am not in using the laptop. I also notice a white LED blinking at the charging point of the laptop. Has anyone experienced this problem or does anyone has a solution on how to solve this problem? Getting help from HP Singapore is very difficult.

Thank you

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your recommendations.

I removed the battery and power on and the flashing of power led has stopped. Seem like the battery could be faulty. As for the keyboard gets heated up still remains the same. I used a small USB fan blowing directly to the keyboard and seems okay.

I have been using this laptop since 2006 maybe the fan could have been damaged by now. It looks like I have to replace the battery and fan or get a new laptop.

Thank You

Hi
First:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.

Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.

Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat; Re-Connect the AC adapter.

NOW begin checking/testing/proving the Hardware is fit for purpose.
Power on your PC, press ESC (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).
