Interesting link I came across on the HP Developers forum for those wanting to customise their boot up logo (see link at bottom of this post).

I have no knowledge on this feature, and so can't vouch for it - I used a similar feature with success back in 2012 to replace a corrupted logo. 

Caution - (Use at your own risk) the documentation states it is a Firmware update so not for the faint hearted - you should talk with HP Support first to validate it and engage a suitably qualified tech to implement it probably on a test machine initially. 

 

  1. Set-HPFirmwareBootLogo

Description

This command sets the boot logo that is seen after computer POST and before the OS takes over. Normally this if the HP logo, but companies may wish to customize it with their own enterprise or workgroup logo.

Please note that the file format has specific restrictions. See the file parameter for more information.
