Hi @RAHUL283

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The Hard Disk (3F0) error typically means that your computer is unable to detect the boot device, often due to a failing hard drive, incorrect BIOS settings, or a loose connection. Since you're facing this issue repeatedly, let's go through some troubleshooting steps:

Step 1: Check Hard Drive Connection

  1. If you're comfortable, open the laptop and ensure the hard drive is securely connected.
  2. If it's a removable drive, try reseating it properly.

Step 2: Restore BIOS Default Settings

  1. Restart your laptop and press F10 repeatedly to enter the BIOS.
  2. Press F9 to restore BIOS defaults.
  3. Press F10 to save and exit.

Step 3: Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

  1. Turn off your laptop.
  2. Press Esc repeatedly while turning it on.
  3. Select F2 to enter HP Diagnostics.
  4. Run a Hard Drive Test to check for errors.

Step 4: Change Boot Order in BIOS

  1. Enter BIOS using F10.
  2. Navigate to Boot Options.
  3. Ensure the internal hard drive is set as the first boot device.
  4. Save changes and restart.

Step 5: Check for Hard Drive Failure

If the diagnostics indicate a failing hard drive, you may need to replace it. Before doing so, consider backing up your data using an external drive or recovery tool.

Let me know how it goes! 😊
