SMART CHECK: PASSED, Short DST: Failed, Long DST: Failed. Failure ID: RLPQQ1-7238RM-QFPKOK-6OUJ03, Product ID: C2M18UA#ABA

Laptop is very very slow in booting and opening programs. Once open they run fine. Are there possible soulutions besides replacing teh hard drive?

Hi

I agree with the above.

Backup and have an OS available to install.

SELECT SECURE/LEGACY BOOT AS REQUIRED, & CHANGE THE BOOT SEQUENCE ALSO AS NEEDED.

Note the XCOPY option, but dont wait that long until it fails, make a install media now.

Hi,

Failure id means your hard drive is failing and will die soon. Your only option is to back up your files as soon as possible.
