no hard drive installed. Please check that the power and data cables are connected properly

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Usually this failure ID indicates that your HDD has failed and needs to be replaced, or there's an issue with the SATA controller on the board. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options.
