On boot run HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI. Get code RPH05C-7AVAJM-MFPV6K-619B04 for Product ID J9M23UA#ABA. What is meaning, can a repair work or need new drive.

Hi:
For some reason the failure code checksum failed and I tried letter O's and zeros to no avail.
RPH05C-7AVAJM-MFPV6K-619B04 | Failed | 1/1/01 |
If you can't boot into Windows, then you will need to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
After you replace the drive, you can use the Microsoft media creation tool to create bootable installation media to reinstall W10.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page...
