HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p249
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
I had the laptop for 2 years. Recently it started to work very slow. It would take a long time for it to connect to the Internet, browsing the Internet became slow as well. It would randomly close programmes and applications. It would randomly restart itself.
Today I tried to turn it on, but it got as far as my lock screen and it froze. But before getting to the lock screen the screen was black for over 5 minutes.
I went into PC Hardware Diagnostics and ran both of the test logs. It fails both of them and it did that the hard drive short dst failed and it gave me and ID number: 6BVP8X-7MK8HM-MDPWL1-60QH03.
Could you please help me, as I really need it to start working.

Short DST Failure means that your Hard Drive has failed.

You would need to get it replaced by logging a ticket at HP.

You can also take it to an authorised HP repair center or your PC reseller to get help.
