Hello all. Please help me to find bios for my very old laptop--HP omnibook 6000. (TW14207996).  Can somebody help me?

Hi:

 

HP retires support for notebook's having reached 10 years of age, and yours is well beyond that timeframe.

 

This reputable 3rd party website has the drivers for your notebook.

 

HP OmniBook 6000 BIOS v.1.83

 

You will need to be able to create a set of floppy disks to update the BIOS.

Don't ask my why, but I still have a couple of dozen 3.5" floppy disks and a USB FDD.

 

I just don't throw stuff away.  😊

 

They were great when I was using XP and working on old PC's to update BIOS' and BIOS microcodes, but I haven't used them in many years.
