Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598U8AV)
Linux

I got this laptop earlier this year and it was working great until like 2months later it started having some issues for example the first issue is that I put my laptop to sleep mode then it refused to wake up and I had to hard reset, later in that month I did put my laptop to charge while I was playing minecraft bedrock but when I see to check the battery percentage I found out that it was stuck like that the whole time tho I got that fixed by holding the power button for 30secs, then 1month later IT HAPPENED AGAIN but this time when I pull out the charger the laptop instantly shuts off even tho the charge was at 40% note that this all happened in windows 11 which was preloaded in this laptop, and yesterday I decided to move to nobara linux as I'm fimiliar with it but 1day later THE SAME ISSUE HAPPENED AGAIN!

Please reply

Thanks!

also as you can see the battery health is 100% so this must be a firmware bug

So I ran the battery tester and it said that the battery was ok, so is this a firmware bug or is it a battery issue?

Thanks!

When you do the battery test via UEFI go to details and see what the values are? There is no firmware for the battery, only for the BIOS, and make the battery calibration,
