@sindybarrera1, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're trying to access an HP laptop but don't have the administrator password, there are a few important things to consider:

For security and privacy reasons, HP and Microsoft do not support bypassing or removing passwords without proper authorization. This is to protect user data and prevent unauthorized access.

What You Can Do

Here are the legitimate steps you can take:

Use a Password Reset Disk (if created earlier)

If you previously created a password reset disk, you can use it to reset the password:

  • Insert the disk and follow the on-screen instructions on the login screen.

Reset Microsoft Account Password (for Windows 10/11)

If your laptop is linked to a Microsoft account:

  • Go to Microsoft Password Reset
  • Follow the steps to reset your password.
  • Once reset, use the new password to log in.

Use Another Admin Account

If another administrator account exists on the laptop:

  • Log in with that account.
  • Go to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users to reset the password for the locked account.

Factory Reset (Last Resort)

If none of the above options work and you don’t need the data on the laptop, you can perform a system reset:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Turn it back on and immediately press F11 repeatedly to enter HP Recovery Manager.
  • Choose Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
