My laptop was given to me by my mother she deceased so I can’t recover any Microsoft info and I don’t have the pw. I have tried multiple reset option for factory restorations I keep getting the (reset failed nothing was removed) message and I don’t know what else to do can someone help?

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and perform a cloud recovery and check if it helps.
