Hi,
At the password screen, hit enter 3 times and you should receive a 'halt code' - post back with this code.

none of the options I see entered has helped me. I just bought received this yesterday. Set up thru Cortana. Now I can not open the computer, error message incorrect password. It does show my security question but nothing I enter works. I tried that reboot number, it does not work. It says enter a disc which I did but it won't let me reset. I am seriously frustrated that I can not use this computer. How can I set it back to the factory settings.
