I recently purchased the new Chromebook 14 with an AMD APU, and I was hoping I would be able to boot/install other Linux distros on it.
I have followed the steps to install chrx but it seems the legacy boot mode for this chromebook is different from Intel chromebooks. Is it possible to boot from USB or other partitions? If so, how?
I have also tried crouton but the screen freezes when I switch to a chroot (I have tried several targets and releases). If anyone has suggestions for this I would appreciate it as well.

Hi
OK, not being a frequent flyer I am not familiar with the AMD APU.
