Hp zbook 15u g3

Hi

I have bought a second hand zbook and have found it is still covered by top level warenty as it has recently died. I have non of the original paperwork and some of the hardware has changes such as ram and hdd as my needs have changed. Is there any way to claim on the warenty as the motherboard has died and I really liked the laptop.

Thanks any help is hugely appreciated

Only HP can speak for what HP will do - those of us who do not work for HP can only speculate.

Speculation:

Depending on the model, the installed components, and vintage of your Zbook, even if HP does not cover the replacement, the repair might be worth the cost.  ZBooks do cost more initially - board replacement on an expensive workstation is something to at least consider as opposed to replacing a board on a $800 notebook.  Different animals.
