How to reset bios password

Helo Guys,

I have problem with my laptop HP Elitebook 840 G1 SN: CNU434B3QK. I locked bios and forget password. Can anybody help me.

Hi,

At the password screen, hit enter 3 times. 

If you receive a 8 digit 'halt code', post back with this code.

If you don't receive a halt code, you will have to Contact HP Business support - they should be able to send you a customised SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.

I don't receive 8 digit 'halt code' I receive on-screen keyboard.
