My PC was fine the other day. Went to use it today and it won't turn on. The light by the power supply is solids. When I turn it in the f12 light is on and the two lights on the .side by the disc drive are on and solid. You hear the CD drive initialize but no fan and no hard drive noise. Screen is black. I have done a hard reset. Checked the ram. Tried pressing esc , f2, f11, win+b win+v. Nothing has worked. Please help

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.
- What is the operating system you are using?
- When was the last time the computer was working fine?
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
While you respond to that, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Thank you for keeping me posted.
If the steps I shared didn't do the trick, it would confirm a hardware malfunction and you may want to Contact HP to have the device repaired.
Here is how you can get in touch with the tech support.
1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
Good day! Take care 🙂
Cheers!
