Hello,

why are some of offered BIOS update files working correctly and other not?

F.e.  HP 650 laptop BIOS recovery file

HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors)10.0 MBsp66781.exe

from official source:

https://support.hp.com/cz-cs/drivers/selfservice/hp-650-notebook-pc/5225011

is not running "as usual"- the option <create recovery USB flash drive> is missing.

Any idea how to fix BIOS recovery by USB flash drive in such case?

Thanks a lot.

Hello @Abdisheshe66

Try again ...

FAT32-formatted small <USB flash drive> (Type USB 2.0) should work.

Kind regards
