Hi @EH6175,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP 2000 Notebook PC is showing the code 64936017 after entering the Administrator password. Let’s go through a few steps to check what can be done next.

Confirm that this is the BIOS/Administrator password screen
This code appears only when the BIOS password is entered incorrectly multiple times.
It is not related to the Windows login password.

Restart the notebook and try entering the BIOS again
Power off the laptop completely, then turn it on and press Esc → F10.
Check if it again asks for the BIOS password.

Understand what the code means
The number 64936017 is a system disabled code.
It appears when the BIOS is locked and needs a generated reset key.

Try entering the code carefully again
Make sure Caps Lock/Num Lock is not affecting your password entry.
BIOS passwords are case-sensitive.

If the BIOS password is forgotten
The BIOS cannot be reset manually on this model.
A special unlock key needs to be generated using the code shown.

Keep the code visible and avoid multiple attempts
Too many retries can cause longer lockouts.
Leave the screen as it is until you obtain the correct unlock key.

I hope this helps.

How do I obtain the special unlock key to be able to unlock the BIOS system on this model, I have followed all the steps to get me this far?  I am leaving the screen as is until I obtain such information.  Thank you for helping me resolve this matter.
