Hp Envy charged but won't turn on.

I have a hp Envy x360 for about 6 months now, this morning it won't turn on, the charging light was Amber so I left it to charge a while, charging light has gone white but when I press the power button it stays lit for about 8 seconds, no noise in the laptop, nothing on the screen, I know it was working last night fine but nothing today, any ideas of what the problem might be?

I see that your HP ENVY X360 15.6 Inch 2-In-1 Laptop PC 15-Es0000 (268U1AV) does not power on.

I suggest that you follow the steps listed below to perform a hard reset on the unit.
1> Turn off the laptop, disconnect the power adapter.
2> Press and hold the F6 and power button for 20 seconds.
3> Then connect the power cable back and try turning on the laptop.

Just to update I contacted customer support and we went through a few things but nothing would get it working, it was arranged for my laptop to be collected the following day 9th Dec, and it was returned to me a week later fixed, the motherboard was replaced and its working fine now..
