Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

my PC went off after a short circuit on the USB port, I used a damaged cable and now my pc can't turn on or show that it's Charging when I plug in the charger. What can I do to turn it back on?

My guess is that any short-circuit runs the risk of "frying" the motherboard -- which will prevent the PC from booting.
