I've upgraded the ssd in my laptop to a 1tb nvme m.2 ssd and I'm having trouble locating legacy boot options in the bios to install an OS from USB.

Edit: I found a workaround, by creating a partition no larger than 32768 MB (32GB), and formatting as fat32, I was able to get it going using the UEFI boot options and not needing to enable legacy boot.

@Daneb Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are unable to install the OS  to 1tb M2 SSD.

I have checked manual. Your product does not support 1TB M2 SSD.

Your model support M.2 solid-state drive.

Thank you for your reply, the installation of my 1tb pioneer brand m.2 ssd using a phison controller, and 4x 256gb TLC flash chips (unknown manufacturer) has actually gone pretty smoothly, since making this post, I have had no issues in getting Windows 10 home installed, updated, and activated using the origional product key that came with the machine.
