Hp notebook goes to sleep automatically while working.power light is blinking.

Notebook automatically goes to sleep while working. Power light is blinking . Some times it takes so much time to wakeup and some times it wakesup and goes to sleep again.

Does the laptop just suddenly shut off with no warning?

You mention the power light blinking and that generally means that the battery is charging or the laptop is not getting enough power.  So, are you running it on battery when this happens?

In both the times while charging and in battery power it goes to sleep.when even battery available at 90% also.it's not shutting down, the screen goes full black.
