I accidentally deleted my HID keyboard driver. Now my keyboard does not respond to pressing on the desktop, but it works correctly in applications. Tell me what I need to do to get the working keyboard back. Reinstall the driver or maybe use a combination?

@RussianTom, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Let us try these steps:
1) In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
2) Double-click Keyboards.
3) Right-click on the keyboard drivers and click on uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.
If the issue persists, install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
