Hi @Rahad2001,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your laptop is experiencing a lockout or security issue that prevents it from booting normally. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem:

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Completely power off the laptop.
  • Disconnect all external devices and the power adapter.
  • If possible, remove the battery (if it’s a removable battery).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power.
  • Reinsert the battery and plug in the power adapter.
  • Try to power on the laptop.

Check for Error Messages:

  • Pay attention to any specific error codes or messages that appear on the screen. These can give clues as to what might be wrong.

Enter Safe Mode (if applicable):

  • Try to boot into Safe Mode. For Windows, you can typically access Safe Mode by pressing F8 or Shift+F8 right after turning on the laptop. For Macs, you can hold the Shift key while it boots.
  • If you can get into Safe Mode, you might be able to undo recent changes that could be causing the issue.

BIOS/UEFI Check:

  • Access the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing a specific key (like F2, F10, DEL, or ESC) immediately after turning on the laptop.
  • Look for an option related to system lock or security settings and see if anything is unusual.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • Sometimes, hardware malfunctions can cause such errors. Consider running diagnostic tests if your BIOS/UEFI has that option.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
