Welcome to the HP Support Community @Hilsen

When asked for the password just hit enter 3 times.

Post any code if you receive one???

It won’t let me press the enter button. I don’t know what to do.

I have consulted to some friends, and they told me I should remove the cmos battery. What you guys think? Is that an option?

Removing the cmos battery won't fix it. Just put any password in and then tap enter key. After doing this 3 times it should give you the halt code Reo asked for.

You mean I should enter  anything there three times, and after that, it would give me a code?

What should I do now?

Reboot and enter:   qetxfuxxkh

If that code does not work???

You will need to contact HP in your region and they should be able to send you a customized SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.

When talking to the HP rep ask them to escalate your service request.

Just to note:

Do not try removing the RTC/BIOS battery.  As it will not remove the password, but it may reset the clock and as SMC files are time coded, a large disparity between the system clock and the time encoded in the SMC may cause it to fail.
