Product: HP ProBook 650 G1 Notebook PC

I bought this laptop at a flea market and I thought it was a good looking laptop bought it though it did not have its original charger so I decided to use my HP desktops charger Which inputs 100-240v and outputs 18.5v and I tried using it with the laptop and then that's were I got ment with the flashing led power icon (also the charger doesn't fit well in the port but works anyway this may be the problem or the battery) i have counted how long it blinks the white light which is around five or four second it does not have a red led and doesn't beep making sound the power and chargeing icon follows along with the blinking white led I don't know what to do with it and that's why I am asking for someone to help me with this problem.
