Hi,

Let me know the following.

1.  Did the code I posted bypass the power on password Ok?

2.  Had you previously set a power on password or did this just appear?

3. If you reboot the machine, do you still get a power on prompt or just the (0xc000000f) error?

Regards,

Yes the code you gave me took me right in to my login screen, unfortunately I forgot my password , no I did not set up a power on password it just appered, when I try to reset my password it says I need a usb to be plugged in so it can repair the error number, I was wondering if resetting my computer would fix that problem?

Yes it will.

Like completely wipping my hard drive from the login method would work? Cause I tried it from safe mode and that's when it gave me that code, if I enter recovery mode and do a hard reset my computer would reset even with that code it gave me?
HP Recommended

If you are able to get to the recovery options then yes, or boot from your recovery disk and reinstall windows from that.
